Small Girls PR, DJ Retweet + #hypegirl - #Webbles Wedding Playlist
Emma is one of our favorite people ever, and as a trusted advisor and former landlord at Secret Clubhouse, Rick has been a huge part of our lives (both personal and in business). Were were so honored when Emma asked us to DJ their wedding afterparty, among the other bands and DJ’s involved- in what we can say is one of the best weddings we’ve ever been to.
Emma sent us a list of songs that she’d want to hear for the night, which was 100% what our SGPR playlist would’ve have been comprised of (+ some k-pop, 60s for Mal and indie electro dance remixes for Bianca).
We bring you our requested playlist from the night below. Thanks to everyone who danced to our bootylicious, candy filled, teenage dream set. We’re available for Bar or Bat Mitzvahs as well, so call us maybe, and say you’ll be there the next time we DJ a party. Yeah!
[you’ll see what we did there when you listen to the playlist…]
That time that we DJ’d a wedding.
I wanted to add to this post and say that Rick and Emma probably had what would be my dream wedding if I were to get married (but again, let’s be serious. I can’t even think as far ahead as this Thursday… soo. yeah).
With all of their close friends celebrating their union at Music Hall of Williamsburg, the flowing whiskey, the tacos, the cupcakes, the 1AM pizza, the bands and the DJ’s who played sets through 2-3AM- it was basically like one amazing party with a wedding tied to it.
The references to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Star Wars, etc. in Emma’s vows were amazing. I mean I would know I’m in love when I’d be willing to stab someone in the heart with a stake if they turned evil also. + the new order lyrics and the klingon poem (translated to english, duh) read during the ceremony was also amazing
I could only hope to one day find my match and have the most fun wedding party ever. But till then, I’ll stick to themed birthdays.
Oh also- listen to our playlist (embedded above). #officetunes
And on another note, I’m obsessed with the dress I wore, and yes I’m wearing a batman mask on the side/back of my head.
