Plainview was a Mac-based full screen browser, complete with slide-show functionality, bookmarking, and the ability to cycle through pages for a quick and easy way to make a presentation. Chrome killed it off when they made full-screen mode in their browser, but it never had all the functionality of Plainview. You are missed.
